The Small Business Health Care Tax Credit - Nuts and Bolts

Session#: 934-53

The Affordable Care Act includes a provision granting a credit to employers for health care costs paid on behalf of employees. The maximum credit from 2010 to 2013 was 35% (25% for tax-exempt organizations) of the cost of health care paid by the company for employee insurance. In 2014, the amount of the credit is 50% (35% for tax-exempt organizations).
Attend this session for detailed information on how to qualify and file for this credit. We also cover the Small Business Health Options Program (SHOP) Marketplace.
